The Digital Doctor benefit gives Irish Life Health members unlimited consultations with a fully qualified GP. Consultations can be held over the phone or if you prefer to chat with the GP face-to-face, via a video call. Video calls are available 8am – 10pm, 7 days per week.*

Not only that, consultations are available 24/7 via phone, giving you the flexibility to arrange an appointment time that suits you.

Following a consultation, the GP can even send a prescription to your local pharmacy if you need one.

Not only does the digital consultation save you time and angst, you can confidently access medical advice when you need it, without watching bills add up.

What symptoms Digital Doctor can be used for

The Digital Doctor service can be accessed for a range of symptoms and illnesses, from coughs, colds, chest infections, mild nausea, urinary infections and sore throats, to minor aches and pains, mild ear and nose complaints and travel and medication advice.

Depending on the nature of your symptoms or illness, your Digital Doctor may refer you to your regular GP for an in-person examination.

This service is not intended to replace your usual GP for all items, it is designed for episodic, once-off conditions and not for ongoing care.

How to access unlimited free GP consultations

If you are an Irish Life Health member, you can book your Digital Doctor appointment straight away.

Simply log in to your Irish Life Health account online and visit MyClinic to book a consultation.

Alternatively, you can also make an appointment over the phone by calling 01 562 5150 (or +353 1 562 5150 from abroad).
